East Asian Pragmatics (EAP) is an academic journal focused on language use and interpersonal interaction in the context of East Asian culture, aiming to enhance understanding of language use and interpersonal interaction in Asia, especially East Asia. It not only focuses on macro level national culture, but also on local culture such as ethnic regions, practice communities, and relationship networks. The journal contributes to the theoretical construction of pragmatics by focusing on pragmatic language materials from East Asian countries or regions, and provides a communication platform for academic exchanges between East Asian pragmatics researchers and Western researchers. Since its establishment, EAP has been recognized by international and domestic peers, attracting high-end authors and excellent reviewers. The manuscript source is abundant and the citation situation is good.
