Poetry Magazine usually refers to Poetry Magazine, a national poetry publication with a profound historical background. Since its establishment in January 1957, Poetry Magazine has been an important platform for publishing contemporary poetry works, publishing poetry trends, and poetry reviews. This magazine is supervised by the China Writers Association and sponsored by the China Writers Publishing Group. It is a large-scale national poetry publication.

The Poetry Magazine was temporarily suspended during the Cultural Revolution, but resumed publication in January 1976 with the approval of Chairman Mao Zedong. It is worth mentioning that not only Mao Zedong, but also the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries such as Zhu De and Chen Yi, as well as Comrade Jiang Zemin, have published works in the Poetry Journal. The magazine always adheres to the purpose of "publishing poetry works and promoting poetry creation", and follows the "two for two" direction and the "double hundred" policy, uniting and promoting generations of contemporary Chinese poets, making unique contributions to the development and prosperity of China's poetry industry.
