The Journal of Contemporary Religion is an academic journal dedicated to contemporary religious phenomena, with the aim of thoroughly documenting and evaluating new forms of religious devotion on a global scale. This journal adopts a multidisciplinary research perspective, including anthropology, sociology, psychology, and philosophy, to comprehensively analyze the diversity and complexity of religion in modern society.

The journal pays special attention to the manifestation of religious devotion in different cultural and social contexts, whether in emerging religious movements or in traditional mainstream religious institutions. This broad range of attention enables the magazine to capture global trends and local characteristics of religious devotion, providing rich perspectives for understanding the role of religion in the contemporary world.
