Canadian Ethnic Studies was founded in 1969 and is published three times a year. It is the official publication of the Canadian Association for Ethnic Studies. This is a comprehensive interdisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing research and academic achievements in the fields of ethnicity, "race," immigration, integration, intergroup relations, and the history of Canadian ethnic and racial groups. Therefore, the journal pays special attention to and studies unique Canadian themes that draw on the heritage of Canadian theory and research. The scope of this journal covers the entire field of ethnic and racial studies in Canada or related to Canada. In addition to feature articles, regular articles, and research notes, journals may also include review articles (scope reviews, systematic reviews, narrative reviews), book reviews, and annual indexes. The journal also strives to publish a special issue every year, inviting experts on specific topics to guest edit.
