The Medical Journal of Infection Microbes and Antimicrobials (MJIMA for short) is an international academic journal focusing on infectious diseases, clinical microbiology and related fields. Since its inception in 2011, the journal has always adhered to the purpose of improving scientific knowledge in the field of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology worldwide, and is committed to promoting academic progress in this field by publishing high-quality experimental research and clinical research, reviews, case reports, short newsletters, letters from readers, editorials, clinical images and other articles.

The official languages of MJIMA are Turkish and English. Since 2017, all papers submitted in Turkish will be translated into English and published by journals after passing peer review, and the author will not bear the translation costs. This measure greatly expands the international influence of the journal, enabling more scholars from different countries and regions to participate in academic exchanges of the journal.
