The Iranian Journal Of Nuclear Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the field of nuclear medicine and dedicated to publishing research on the science of nuclear medicine and its broad applications. The journal covers fundamental and clinical aspects of nuclear medicine, including molecular imaging techniques, functional and metabolic studies of disease, radiobiology, dosimetry, radiation pharmacy, and radiochemistry.

In molecular imaging, articles published in the journal may address the latest advances in imaging technology, such as the application and development of positron emission tomography (PET) and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), which play a key role in the early diagnosis and treatment monitoring of diseases. The study of disease function and metabolism focuses on how to evaluate and understand the physiological and metabolic processes of disease through nuclear medicine to improve disease diagnosis and treatment strategies.
