As an international peer-reviewed journal, Computational Toxicology plays an important role in advancing science in the field of toxicology. The journal not only focuses on the application of computational methods to the safety assessment of chemical substances, but also encourages interdisciplinary research in the fields of biology, chemistry, computer science, bioinformatics, physics, engineering, and more.
Particular emphasis is placed on the role of innovative computational techniques in predicting the potential effects of chemicals on human health and the environment, including toxicity, metabolic pathways, physicochemical properties and biological outcomes. In addition, the journal covers the application of big data in toxicology research, such as data integration, management, analysis, and the development and validation of computational models.
