At the intersection of the far-reaching impact of the Mongol conquest of the East and the nascent wave of industrialization in the West, the magazine captures an unprecedented process of global connection-building across time and space.

It examines not only how the Mongol conquest reshaped the political map and economic structure of Eurasia, but also how this upheaval indirectly facilitated new human and physical geographical interactions between East and West.
